There was a post on Advrider Forum a few years ago that I really enjoyed. We like to think that we are rough anf tough adventure riders with our GS’s, V-Stroms, Drz’s, KTM’s and other modern light (well, mostly light) that are specifically designed for offroad travel. Well, we don’t hold a candle to these guys who practiced the philosophy of “Run whatcha brung”.
Here are some great photos of Real Adventure Riders . It looks like a mixture of HD’s and Brit bikes out sloggin’ in the mud. Those bikes must have weighed at least 750 pounds with the Triumphs and BSA’s maybe a little lighter. Those were real MEN!
